How long have you been in business?
Lake Lodges vacation has been doing business since 2003
Will the Paddle boat be available for our use during our stay? Paddle boats are only available during the summer months. Memorial day - Labor day when the lake level is up. Cast Away Lodge and Anglers Lodge are equipped with a paddle boat and life jackets.
How far are you from the Jonesboro Storytelling Center?
All 3 of our rentals are 10 minutes to Jonesboro.
All of our homes are between 12-20 miles from the race way. A 15-20 minute drive.
Yes, We ask that there is no smoking in the houses.
No, we do not provide powerboat rentals;
Is there place to rent boats or jet skis?
Sonny’s & Lakeview Marina both rent boats. You can find the phone numbers in the "Area Information" section. They do not rent boats after the season ends in September. They book up on long weekends and summer weeks so call them early to make reservations.
Yes, All the houses except Pine Lodge have private boat docks; Anglers lodge has limited parking you will need to park the boat trailer down at the boat dock and ramp area.
Are bed linens and towels provided?
Yes each house is stocked with kitchen linens, bath towels and bedding.
Does the house have cable T.V?
All of the houses have cable T.V. Also we provide a DVD and video library.
Is there a grocery store near by?
Ingles grocery store is less then 5 miles from the houses. We also have a small neighborhood store within blocks of each of the houses.
Pine, Cast Away, Lodge are the only pet friendly house's with pre arranged agreement (dogs only). We do charge a pet fee.
Are there places to go shopping?
Does the house have a washer and dryer?
Yes all house's have washers, dryers, dishwashers and microwaves.
Do you offer a rental contract?
We require a standard vacation rental contract for all our vacation rentals. You must be 25 years or older to sign the rental contract. Please see the cancellation policy below and the links we have included for private trip insurance.
What is you cancellation Policy?
CANCELLATIONS/: If reservation is cancelled outside of 60 days a complete refund minus a $200.00 administration fee will apply. If within this time frame, no refunds will be processed unless we are able to re-rent the dates that are being cancelled. If we are able to re-rent the dates we will give a complete refund minus the cancellation administation fee of $200. For added protection we have included trip insurance links on each homes rate page.
CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING 60 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL. Your signature on this agreement / or payment of money / or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement is evidence of your acceptance and your intent to use this property for vacation rental. Please see our trip insurance links on all of our homes rate pages.
All Balances that are due for vacation rental leases must be paid in full , 2 months prior to the reservation check-in date. Owner reserves the right to cancel the contract if we do not receive the signed contract back with in a reasonable amount of time. (15 days from the day we email the contract to you.You must show proof that you are 25 years of age to sign the rental agreement.
No, we do not have active phone service. If you have a wireless connection, Atlanta Bread Company, Starbucks and Panera all have wireless internet connections.
Are any of your rentals set up for the handicap?
No, All homes have several levels and stairs.
When do they drain the lake?
The lake is never completely drained.
Are any of the rentals next door to each other?
No, three of the rentals Pine, Anglers and Cast Away are in the same neighborhood a 2 minute drive from house to house.
Do any of the homes have a beach area?
No, all of our homes have wood docks that the kids can swim from. There is a park nearby at the dam that has a beach and picnic area.
We do require a refundable damage deposit at reserve. Please call for more information regarding reservation deposits.

Do you offer Trip Insurance?
We do recommend Insurance in case of a un-planned illness, accident or a last minute cancellation. We have several links to insurance companies that offer trip insurance in case of cancellations or illness or injury during your vacation. You can find this info on our rate pages. We will also include trip insurance information on the vacation rental contract. We are not affiliated with the any of the insurance companies.
